Maryam Islamic Center was founded in 2003 and is a 501 (c) non-profit organization located in Sugar Land, TX, and is an institution that is run under the Islamic Society of Greater Houston. It serves its own Sugar Land community, as well as its guests from all over Houston.

MICS is the largest weekend Islamic School in the region, offering quality Islamic education through the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah. The staff at MICS is committed to providing the best education. The administration is focused on introducing innovative and creative teaching methodologies, taking advantage of technological advances as well as having a qualified teaching staff.
